The class had a furry time learning about fur trapping, trading, and mountain men. They got to explore tools, touch furs, and wear mountain man gear!!
The third and fourth grade class had the chance to dissect fish. They learned the parts of the fish and where to find them. For example the heart is behind the gills. We are thankful that Leonard showed us how to cut into the fish and taught us what special parts are on a fish. We learned that fish don't have ears they hear with a line down their body. Some kids thought fish dissection was gross, and some loved it. The third and fourth graders had lots of fun dissecting fish.
